Getting back into the swing of things

Yesterday for the first time in 14 years I taught the Adult Sunday Class. I was nervous in a way but proceeded and never letting the feeling over take me. The lesson was titled “Who Will Come To The Rescue ” Acts 12:1-12. I took notes to talk about main points of the lesson and never used it but only did a glance. Pastor Craig Davis Sr. did make the points in lesson that I only glanced at my notes at, and even more. I found myself relying on him to come to my rescue. A few times when he chimed in I found myself saying whew; but yet on the other hand I told myself you can do this. When he left the class room I found myself looking for him to continue to hold my hand or step in. Don’t get me wrong I was confident in my teaching but I was fighting a war inside myself concerning myself. 
After class was over everyone! Said I did a good job including my pastor. I felt good and even telling the war see even fighting with you God still got the glory.
Sometimes when you are out of your element you will find yourself bringing up the highlights of your past while you are changing the chapter to a very new book with a new beginning. One has to use the stand your ground and be serious about the change you are wanting in your life. No more visiting my old book of hold backs for I am soaring full speed ahead. My God is standing by and I want Jesus to always walk and guide me along the way. For He knows the path I am to take and knows me better than I know myself. I am more than a conquerer see Romans 8.

Text, Email, Facebook, Instant Messaging of all kinds

Communication has taken a turn from what we all have known from 1200 to 1999 people have left the call me era to the text me era. Now texting has become the norm. Talking on the phone has become the thing in the past. Instead of or a long with missed calls I have missed texts, what!!!!Missed text who does that right. Well 2 to 4 days missed text now the question is do you text back? If you do what the heck is your reply? Sorry __________ I just noticed you tested me ______ days ago. Wow we really have became the generation so busy NOT to talk. Commercial made it so real the Eggo family texting one another to let go the Eggo. Have we really started down this road, wait that may be a good thing cause now the children do not hear mom and dad fighting cause they are texting it to each other. Our children finding a new way to fight through texting a new style of bulling on the rise through texting and abuse as well. Taking this course of action we will suffer to hear the voices of our loved ones and other people around us. Have you noticed that machines are now calling and asking us to hold on or you are being prompted to call a number. Where are the HUMAN at the other end. We were a generation of calling that has adapted quickly to the NONHUMAN responses. Are you ready?    

Wait then there is a new fancy feature called hangout and face time so now your caller can now go everywhere you go. Hold on a minute do I need the caller to see me in the bathroom? What if the person on the other end face time/hangout calls you during that intimate time with your mate/spouse. Are you ready? Don't you find it odd that it is so much easier to microwave, face time/hangout, text then it is to talk to the person beside you? Okay I had this dream that a lady got on an elevator and needed to ask the guy next to her to push 4 but couldn't because she didn't know his number. Are you ready?

Hello Barbie

Barbie we girls grew up with as a child has a new twist coming out called Hello Barbie. Hello Barbie is an interactive barbie which means SHE TALKS BACK! What the heck! Now your little girl can pretend play but with a twist. Your daughter can have an experience of virtual reality play with the computerized voice on the other end; at the push of a button on Barbie? Have we become a people of allowing others to entertain our children without a need of parental guides? Is this becoming the norm? Have we really gotten too busy for our own children that we need outside influence to step in and help mold our little girls? MOMS WAKE UP!! Your little innocent baby girls may end up knowing more about controversial things before they are ready and who will be at fought? YOU! What will they be learning from a stranger voice from Barbie? The pretend play now will have conversation starting off Barbie said. Are you ready? Who knows who can be at the other end it could be a sex offender, murder, sexist, authority definer, or just what . Yes that the unknowing fact that can lurk in the shadow of push a button Barbie talks. Are you ready? Virtue and values you may want to teach your child can be railroaded at a push of a button on Barbie, because now what you wanted someone else can destroy. Are you ready? How open and trusting is your little girl to new things not to mention how impressionable is your little girl?  

I as a child played with Barbie and her friends just as a lot of little girls from my daughters to way back when my mother was a little girl. Barbie is a doll that we pretended the voice and the out come of where we wanted to with our pretend play. Look at many of us we range in many professions Let us keep the pretend play pretend play. Through our pretend play it builds character and it helps build our communication level along with creativity. We had control of our little imagination world of escape from reality for a moment. Why should it change now? Are you ready?

WHY ME

Jesus said he did not come to judge the world but the came so that world may be saved through HIM. I have a few twisted looks at what I just said go read John chapter 3; the verse I am referring to is verse number 17 it states For God sent his Son into the world not to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. Hmmmmmmmmmmm. Now what we have is a bunch of false Son’s/Children of God condemning everyone but them hmm. Now ain’t that something. Let me tell you Jesus didn’t even condemn the woman who slept with many men WE DO and give her a name slut, hoe and whore. Oh and don’t let her have more than 1 child and then we really lay it thick ya baby making machine; OH No we continue it with that is why your butt ain’t married cause all you can do is spread your legs for the next John who comes your way. BIM (boys in a man’s body) pride themselves in being the best player around until they get caught. Squirm like the very worm they are and blame like their father before them Adam, blame the girl and not themselves. We even condemn if you rely on foodstamps, afdc/tanf, wic, Medicaid, and ssi. You non wanting to work broke ass nigga (someone who behaves ignorantly). Always ready to condemn but never ready to help their neighbor get ahead unless they themselves were benefitting from it. Yup I said it. Single people bashing a married family twisted as it may be but it is done, and yes it does go the other way. Even married couple without children talking about another married couple with children and yep that goes both ways; not tot mention the families talking about another family. What is being displayed in all this hot mess Christianity is WE are better than Jesus because we can condemn one another. HUM! Get off your Facebook, twitter, tumbler, Linked In and other social media websites. ((((MIC DROP))))

CONSEQUENCES

I awoke up with issues this great and wonderful morning. We as a people in this great nation are becoming stagnate, uncouth, ill-bred, puffed up, stiffed neck, cry babies, prideful, deceitful, denying the POWER OF GOD ALMIGHTY! 
WAKE UP! See what actions is going to cost the future of children and their children. If we continue to dumb down our nation and improve the intelligent level of those outside and abroad. What do you think will happen when it can be used against them? We don't like how someone else celebrates holidays, birthdays, their nationality feasts and other things and what do we do? Stop and rename it to not to offend anyone but we end up offending on every other end and it was all done for what? To teach how to stand for everything except for what you truly believe, and never ever stand to be be different only if it doesn't offend your neighbor. What are the consequences of our actions? 
 
Question have you ever tried to put the Countries back together? Where you successful? What did you learn?

Time To Grow Up!

Listen up you who are angry, hurt, feel as though there is no way out or just whatever your case may be. Look here you are doing yourself or others NO GOOD when you lash out for NO real reason. So what you feel the need to quote and or miss quote scripture just to elevate yourself and or justify yourself. YOUR pain does not give you the right to throw your temper tantrum. KNOCK it off! The way you act so will your children and or they just might be embarrassed to have you as their role model. “Well I didn’t ask to be a role model” OH really your child/children look up to you their parent as their role model. Here is the thing your attitude will either bring people towards you or send them running from you. You may think it is cute to have people running away from you, but what if you need that friend or family member to help you after they walked away from you? What if; your stubborn, puffed up attitude is what is holding you back from that raise, a closer relationship with your spouse/mate, your family or even yourself?

You can have a better all-round relationship starting with YOU! All you need to do is turn your life over to GOD and allow him to create in you a clean heart and renew aright spirit with in by Acts 8:16 (For as yet he was fallen upon none of them: only they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ.) Hebrews 6:4 for it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Ghost, Psalms 51:10 Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me. John 3:16 simply says God loves you enough to send his own son to carry your sins and your health problems to the cross and he died and he rose again on the third day just for you and me. Listen up GO find a church home call and talk to the pastor of that church and let them direct you into the right way.
